The landing leg (or jack stand) may weigh in excess of 80 pounds, which may require 2 or 3 soldiers to raise or lower. Without the Landing Leg Assist Kit, there is a risk of serious injury during deployment.

The Landing Leg Assist Kit is an innovative application of leverage. This enables a single soldier to quickly and safely raise and lower the jack stand. This can save crucial seconds in the field, free up 1 or 2 soldiers for other tasks, and virtually eliminate the risk of strain or injury from improperly raising or lowering the landing leg.
