Raising or lowering the landing leg on the M200 Generator Trailer is a time consuming process that requires a soldier to lie under the trailer, operate latches, and lift (or restrain) the leg. This can lead to muscle or back strains, pinched or severed fingers, and possible head injuries.

One soldier can safely raise or lower the landing leg with full control. Further, the soldier operates the kit standing beside the trailer, NOT lying under the trailer.
